Is youth crime really as serious as the media suggest?
In this lesson we will look at how the media portrays youth crime and compare this to some statistical data about youth crime. We will use a case study to identify how the media uses sensationalisation to dramatise youth crime and what a group of young people see are the issues of this, and how they feel this could be a tackled.
