Sheila and Eric (Part 1)
In this lesson, we will examine how Priestley presents the upper class Edwardian women by exploring Sheila's character. We will compare Sheila Birling to Eric Birling and explore her transformation as the play develops. This lesson makes reference to the topics of violence and suicide. If these issues are sensitive for you, we recommend checking with a trusted adult before starting, or doing the lesson with a trusted adult nearby.
