What roles do NGOs, charities and civil society play in local communities?
Lesson outcome
In this lesson, we will examine the role of charities and NGOs in our communites and gain an understanding of the power they hold. We investigate their actions beyond that of aid and relief, and see how they play a part in civil society. To explore this fully, we focus on case studies of Age UK and Save the Children.
