Primary History

I am currently a Design Lead for Ark Curriculum Plus. Previously, I was a Primary Teacher for six years in Sheffield. I taught mainly in KS2 but spent a lot of time teaching and embedding Philosophy for Children (P4C) across all year groups. I studied History at university and became SAPERE Level 3 trained in P4C during my teaching career and have a real passion for teaching both subjects.

Music

I teach curriculum music in primary schools around London. I also teach singing in secondary school and lead community choirs. I spend most days at the piano accompanying children in song, including some which we have written together. I am incredibly lucky to have such an impactful and enjoyable job.

Primary Maths

Hi there! I am a friendly, passionate leader at a school in Bolton. I currently teach in Key Stage 1 - and I love it! Being a teacher is magical and no day is ever the same. The children in my class keep me laughing all day long. My favourite subject to teach is Maths. When I was at school, I found maths tricky. I worked very hard and succeeded! I love being able to teach maths to the young children in my school and teaching it in a way that makes it easy!

Primary Design & Technology

Hello, my name is Mrs Bishop. I am a primary school teacher working in North London. My job is just the best. I just love seeing a child having a ‘lightbulb moment’ and having fun with learning! When I am not working I love walking my miniature dappled dachshund Freddie in the countryside and baking my famous chocolate chip cookies.

Specialist Independent Living

I’m a teacher and Formal Pathway lead at a school in Camden. I have been teaching for nine years and still love that no two days are ever the same. I currently teach a group of eleven students aged between 13 to 16, but have taught both primary and secondary during my eight years at my school. I love human sciences, particularly anything to do with the brain!

Secondary Science

I have been teaching science to 11-16 year olds for over 7 years and I teach all three disciplines, but chemistry is my favourite! What I love about my subject is that is that science is EVERYWHERE - I enjoy viewing the world through a scientific eye and knowing how stuff works. I also love working with young people and I really enjoy creating those ’’light bulb’’ moments. I measure success in my job, not by grades, but by how many times my heart smiles. To me, that’s what makes teaching worthwhile.

Primary English

I am currently Assistant Head at a primary school, where I have been for over ten years. I oversee training for student teachers across lots of schools in West London. One of my main educational passions is the role of the arts and music in schools and how valuable they are for children’s wellbeing and academic progress. In my spare time, I enjoy cycle rides with my two young children.

Secondary Chemistry, Biology

I am a Zoology graduate and have been teaching science for 5 years. Although I love teaching all three sciences, I find Biology particularly fascinating, especially anything genetics or animal-related. In my spare time I enjoy rowing, baking, walking my gorgeous dog Darcy and watching Sci-Fi films!

Primary

I am currently the Primary Headteacher at a school in London. I have worked with children aged 2-11 and particularly love teaching Literacy. My favourite part of my job is the great conversations you can have with children about the interesting ways that they see the world and the chance to work with other incredible teachers.

Secondary German, Spanish

¡Hola! I am the Curriculum Leader for Spanish at a Secondary school in Buckinghamshire and I love teaching languages. I studied French and Spanish for my degree at Anglia Ruskin University - but that was a very long time ago! I have been very lucky to have been able to use my languages at work - I worked at The French Embassy in London for a while and then spent many years in the publishing industry before I decided to go into teaching! I hope you get to love languages as much a I do!
